Ive been taking a well earned break from blogging. At the same time Ive still been really busy, I had a one on one portfolio review with Paul Wilkinson from MTV which went really well. It was quite hard to cram everything in to a few five minuets but I did it and he asked for one of my DVD's, so who knows.
The new animation also screened at Bradford Animation festival, so now ive officially had my festival cherry popped.
Its been going down really well, the major gripe with it, is that people want more, well I have more time on the next one so you may get two minuets :) I just need some extra hands.
Also Id like to thank Elijah B Torn for doing the music on my animation. Thank you, your screen print is being done on Wednesday for you! I hope we can do something together again.
David Mack also liked the animation, which made my day as hes a major influence on my work.
Also another shout out for James Lester who put up with my erratic work schedule. He also did the Leeds Film Festival image below
I went too London at the weekend where me and the paper master mind Helen Friel planned world paper domination.
While in London I not only got to experience the joys of spending £3.40 on a pint! I met Julia Pott who I bought a Zine off and then shyly ran away as Im a major fan of her work.
This Friday I will be grabbing my pens and doodling away at Best Joined Up, although this time all my animations will be screening in the exhibition space.
So you should come down and say hello and ill draw you a doodle.
Im currently re designing the whole website, its in need of a much needed make over, its served its purpose well but its time for change :)
I got a little distracted and started drawing over what I had done. If some of the links aren't working, Ive taken them out (this has happened in the video section, their are links to my Vimeo and Youtube on the moving image page.) The print section is really out of date so too keep up on my doodlers go to my flickr or just keep checking back on the blog ill always drop what Im up too on here.
That's it for now, over and out.
